I had a repaired laptop that had been shipped from Dell via FedEx. I live in an apartment with no doorperson or lobby and am at work most of the day, so I went online to set it to hold at a FedEx location (have done this many times), but didn't see an option to do it. I clicked around, then gave up and forgot about it. After their attempted delivery the next day, I remembered and called customer service. The representative was pleasant but unhelpful. I asked them to hold it at a FedEx location and they simply said "that option is not available with this package". I asked if I could change the delivery address to my work address and was told it was not allowed because I am not the sender. I asked if I could schedule the delivery to a time when I would be home from work, and the representative said that I could schedule delivery within a two hour window for a fee, but their system was down and they couldn't do it for me. They suggested I log on and set it myself. Not pumped about the fee, but whatever! Since I didn't have my laptop, I couldn't do it right there on the phone, so I went to work and got to it then. Once I logged on...no option to schedule the delivery.

I called customer service again and got a much less pleasant representative. I explained that I couldn't see the option to schedule my delivery and they said "if you cannot see that option online, then that option is not available". So helpful. I politely explained that I was not home to accept the delivery, and inquired what options were available to me so I could receive my package. The representative said I could sign the door tag and they would leave it at the door. I explained that I'm not okay doing this as it is an expensive laptop and I live in a major urban center. They offered no alternatives. I was frustrated to the point of tears at this point, but kept it polite and summarized my situation: that I was not comfortable having my package left at the door, I could not change my delivery address, I could not have it held at a FedEx location, and I could not schedule my delivery. They agreed this was all correct and again offered to solution or empathy. So I asked, with my voice wavering to keep the anger out, "so what can I do in order to get my package?" They said, "you can pick it up at the FedEx station after 6pm". I had to press them to tell me where the FedEx station is, and...with traffic it's over an hour away. I was obviously not thrilled with this solution, and told the representative this, asking one more time if there are any other options available, to which they responded "there is not an option to manage this delivery". I gave a sarcastic "great", but genuinely thanked the representative for their time because customer service is a shitty job and people scream at them all day long.

So I'm stuck choosing between driving an hour each direction in rush hour to pick up my package, or allowing for two more failed delivery attempts, then returning to Dell, then changing my delivery address, and shipping to my office. Not thrilled by either option. Luckily I don't desperately need my laptop for anything right now but DANG what the hell??? I recognize that I should have thought ahead and had it deliver to my office from the get-go, but I try to limit the personal packages to my office, and I had no reason to think I wouldn't be able to hold the package at a FedEx location like I do with every other FedEx package. Ugh.

I was supposed to have my package delivered on wednesday november 13th, delayed? That's fine I'm a patient person. That same day I got a notification stating its rescheduled for wednesday november 13th... WONDERFUL HOW PLEASANT OF YOU TO RESCHEDULE ON THE SAME DAY. Knowing it won't come, well you can guess what happened. Rescheduled AGAIN to be delivered on the 14th. 14th comes up and low any behold it was attempted. Now, my doorbell is broken and the package couldn't be left alone because it needed someone to be home, fine, I didn't hear it. Shouldn't there be a DOOR TAG? Low and behold there wasn't one!!! :) Called customer service to see about finding another option and they were no help!!! WOW! :)

What the f%@k is with needing an activation code MAILED physically to make any sort of changes to my delivery? Fedex needs to step up their shit. I really had no choice in choosing the delivery carrier and UPS has always given me the best service that can be easily accessed ONLINE, THROUGH EMAIL OR PHONE. Fedex is a piece of shit and I wish they would have more options to solve their shitty ass customer service and site.

Just yesterday they delivered a wrong package and ran in to my front yard tree and broke several branches. Not doing business with Fed UP! Will notify all shippers that Fed Ex shipment will not be accepted.

Went to. FedEx facility in Derwood, MD to pick up a package per a door tag left at front door. I was third in line when I got there. The whole episode too almost 30 minutes. Both employees made excuses and apologies to all customers and it was quite concerning that two people whom’s employment is basically about accepting and providing packages and they seemed like 1st graders trying to do their job. Tech challenges, serious challenges finding packages, slow activity with no sense of urgency, constant apologies that were not necessary and only showed inability. Just awful. I will never use fedex again for anything I don’t have to. Sell to USPS as they are doing a lot better

Every year, there is always some sort of issue with FedEx, whether that's delivering only our items on a semi that can't pull into our driveway, or not showing up on the day they're supposed to, or showing up at a time no one is at the church. This year, they tried to deliver at 9:00 a.m., when I had previously said no one was going to be there until at least 10:00 a.m.; when I called to see if they could redeliver today, they said they couldn't deliver until the next day, and only within a 6-hour window. We'll see what time they deliver tomorrow; I may be back for another rant.

On Wednesday November 6 I sent three cases of equipment from Fort Lauderdale to St. Thomas, $1700 for priority international. On Thursday, two of the packages were delivered to the boatyard, and the...

On Wednesday November 6 I sent three cases of equipment from Fort Lauderdale to St. Thomas, $1700 for priority international. On Thursday, two of the packages were delivered to the boatyard, and the driver told the yard manager that they had the other one and would bring it Friday. This corresponded completely with the online tracking, that said it would be delivered by 6:00pm Friday 11/8. The yard manager let me know on Saturday that the third case never showed, so I called customer service. The case manager was barely interested but told me the last scan was the arrival scan in Memphis Wednesday night, nothing since then, and acknowledged the online tracking was completely wrong. He promised to start a trace and said he would be in touch, created a case #. On Sunday when I called the representative said that there was another scan in Memphis after I had spoken to the agent, and that the case would fly that night and be in St. Thomas Monday. The online tracking now agreed, 6:00pm Monday. When I called Monday morning and got the third representative in the case management department, he now said the woman on Sunday was incorrect, there was no subsequent scan, and that in fact the Wednesday night scan may not have been a physical scan, just what he called a "manifest" and he would have to contact the Fort Lauderdale office in addition to trying to find it in Memphis. So, I went back to the Fort Lauderdale office and spoke to a helpful woman there, who searched her record and said there was a physical scan when I checked it in, one when they put in a container, and one at Fort Lauderdale airport when the container was sealed- so it had to have gotten on the plane to Memphis, and she believed the arrival scan was real. She was the first person that actually seemed interested in helping.

Later that day, after no contact, I called again and got another case manager, who at least didn't give me another story, and stuck to the story that the last scan was in Memphis Wednesday. She said she would contact the Memphis office, like the guy on Saturday and the guy Monday morning never did. The online tracking still shows out for delivery in St. Thomas, they have my money, it's a 44" 75 lb. package so it's not like it went in somebody's pocket.
It's equipment for a service job, the schedule is critical, it just cost me another grand to find and rent equipment to replace the missing stuff not including shipping the loaner stuff overnight from Houston to St. Thomas, the job schedule is now screwed, I get no contact from FedEx unless I call and every time I get a new person and a new story. If the driver hadn't told the yard on Thursday that they had the missing case I could have gotten on this sooner.

The stress, aggravation, and financial hit are out of control, and the FedEx attitude and service has been discouraging to say the least. They got my money and they are not doing anything to make me feel like they have a clue. Screwed in Fort Lauderdale.

Tuesday, 11/5, 3:08 p.m.: Notice received that delivery was scheduled for Wednesday.
Wednesday: Working from home, checked several times for order.
Wednesday, 3:45 p.m.: Text/email received that delivery was scheduled for Thursday
Wednesday, 3:50 p.m.: Text/email received that delivery was rescheduled to Thursday.
Thursday: checked status several times during day / evening. Status was repeatedly that it was on the delivery truck.
Friday, Nov 8, 9:52 a.m.: Text /email received that delivery was completed two days prior. Online history no longer reflects the rescheduled delivery or the status from Thursday.

I have print screens to confirm the above. My interpretation: the delivery person lost the package and Fedex updated their tracking information to cover themselves. Very dishonest.

Friday: Chatted with online assistant, that transferred me to a live agent and then told me I had to call. Called twice and was told Fedex had system issues and to call back. Third call they were more helpful but expected a call back today and did not receive it.

Today called and talked to someone I couldn't understand very well. He disconnected my call into a Fedex survey. I called back and was transferred to a Customer Advocate, who again disconnected me into a survey.

It would be nice if Fedex would apologize for the poor service, acknowledge that the online tracking is incorrect (I can share print screens of the text/email if you like), and agree that they lost the order.

I run an IT Service Desk for a large corporation. If we had support like this we would be fired.

Customer service is a shit show too, only was able to speak with a human that comprehended English fluently after 4 calls.

FedEx wants to save as much money as possible that they have call centers in India, hire independent contractors for courier services, and just loves hearing you call them about how you waste an entire day/s and or week/s and or month/s waiting for your package.

They except us to sit on our computers pressing F5 throughout the day to see the tracking process and yet they can never actually give you the correct day or time of when it will be delivered.

Was expecting my package today and I went to look on the website I ordered from and they said that I was getting it today. But for some reason when I looked at the tracking history there was a "shipment exception" and not three minutes later according to the tracking page it arrived at the FedEx location. But for some reason that three minute delay caused my entire package to be delayed by an entire day!?!? What?!? That makes absolutely no sense!! They said that I would get my package by the 8th of November, but now it is looking like the 9th by the end of the day! This is exactly why I HATE having my things shipped to me! I've seen what the mail people do to my stuff and it is not okay! I would rather pick it up myself at the store but more often than not I am forced to have it shipped!

I have been trying to get an international discount for over 3 months now . I already have a pathetic Domestic discount but they can't add on international with my current account AND no one there knows how to set up an international account. To get a sales rep you have to leave a message and they may or may NOT call you back. IF you're LUCKY enough to have a rep call you back WHENEVER, they don't know how to create an international account. UNBELIEVABLE - NO CROSS TRAINING. I have had 5 different reps in 5 months so the company must suck for them as well.

Can't get a hold of international support to reroute a package ( a problem that is not addressed on the online form ) requires a REAL PERSON to figure it out how screwed up the shipment is. International takes you to the domestic line. HELLO! How tough is it to create a line specifically for international??
We dropped a 2 package order off at the FEDex store. There was something wrong with one of the labels so they only shipped out the one package WITHOUT the clearance docs. 5 days lost and the store says they are not supposed to know that that was wrong. They should have held the entire thing until the label was corrected.
Sothe store people aren't trained well, the reps are not cross trained, you can't get a hold of anyone but a customer service person in a foreign country where sometimes you can't understand them.

EVERYTHING is AUTOMATED and the OPTIONS/choices that they leave out of the choices are unbelievable.
You call the international line and it brings you to the same old customer service line and you hav to answer 5 questions to get to the WRONG person because none of the options apply to the issue and BY THE WAY its not for international either.

Hard to imagine a worse company to deal with... really. DON'T WASTE your time with these LOSERS. They are gonna get killed by AMAZON & UPS domestically and DHL internationally and they DESERVE TO GO OUT OF BIZ - STOCKHOLDERS SELL NOW before it's too late. It's gonna dive. When the stock plummets maybe the board will get rid of FRED SMITH. Retire already FRED. CLEARLY you're hanging out on the beach while the company goes to hell. So many incidents, so complicated each one is. Oh and by the way the online interfaces are so duplicative. Did an idiot create the site plans?? YES is the answer. No leadership.

IT feels good to tell someone what the hell is wrong with this company. CLEARLY that's why there is only one phone number to customer service people who know NOTHING. "Sorry SIR" "SORRY SIR" then they ask you to rate the PERSON vs the company after the phone call with one question. You give the sickningly sweet "phone answerer" a 5 so they don't lose their job while the company should get a -5... but they dont ask you that huuu FRED!

By the time Package would clear I would not be at destination. Fed ex said they would send back to US and call with updates. LIES! ALL LIES! Next day no updates. I call and told nothing to update still in customs. 2 days later no updates so I call. Now I am told I need to open an account so they can charge me to send back or they will ship to original destination after clearance. Fed Ex even with an office there does not understand package clearance in China. They make mistakes waste valuable time do not follow up, and customers to pay for their mistakes. They have now beat such esteemed poor service companies such as DirecTV as the absolute customer service possible. This is a terrible company.

Ordered a couple items from Chewy. They offer 2 day shipping over $49. Great...until your package was attempted for delivery on Saturday, but your office is closed. Ok, so it will come Monday. Nope. I was told that FedEx HOME (what is that even??) does not deliver Sunday or Monday. Ok, it will come Tuesday then. Nope. So, on Wednesday I cancel the shipment with Chewy and they refund my money.
The following Monday, I get an FB message from a man who lives in Winston Salem (at least 1/2 hour from my office location!) that has my package from Chewy!! It was delivered to him and the box was open, he called both Chewy and FedEx and neither one wanted anything to do with the package. They told him to throw the items away! So, he tracked me down. I was super happy to pick up the items and get them for free too! Minus the gas it cost to go pick the stuff up.

I ask for it to be held at a “fedex on-site” near my home so I can pick it up Saturday. Well now it’s Monday and my last update on the package was Friday at 11am saying it’s been received at a FedEx facility in Jacksonville, I live in St Augustine. I have called and messaged, and everyone has said the same scripted thing, it’s in transit it’ll be here by 8pm nov 4. Welp here I am at midnight without my order and it’s just said in transit for 5 days, even though THERES NO WAY it’s been in transit for 5 days because I live 20 MINUTES away from jax. I can’t get a refund for 2 day. I won’t have my package in time for what I need it for. Hell I don’t even know if I’ll ever get my package. Screw fedex.

So to my knowledge I was expecting a nice door note. Low and behold I contacted support and they said that they would get with the delivery manager and see about getting my package back. HA! I doubt I'll see it now since it says that it was delivered. Now I get to file a lost claim that I am sure that they will deny and my 500 dollar pre-order will be in the hands of someone that should of never gotten this 89lb package. Day 1: Package arrives. Was alerted of Clearance delay.
FedEx Requests documentation to clear the shipment as commercial goods instead of personal goods.
Contact FedEx USA, provided 2 other contact numbers for FedEx Mexico. Never an answer.

Day 2: Still no response from FedEx Mexico. Request merchandise to be returned to the USA. FedEx US Int'l customer service rep assures me that they will have it returned free of charge due to mishandling.

Day 3: Wait to see update on tracking.

Day 4: Call back to inquire about return, am told that I am at the mercy of FedEx MX whom no longer responds. Hire a broker in Mexico to clear the shipment, and my broker is told he can not touch the merchandise because FedEx is already clearing it now. FedEx US Int'l customer service tells me they do not offer brokerage in Mexico as of last month because their office was extorting American customers. But alas, it's FedEx Mexico not FedEx USA, so what could they possibly do?


Literally the most terrible experience i have ever had in my life. The fact that even an int'l supervisor from FedEx is saying "We know they extort our customers, but we can only do so much to stop it." How is the American arm not held liable for the actions of their counterpart. At the end of the day that extortion of American clients is still filtered back into the FedEx corporate accounts, and FedEx still benefits from it?

Wednesday - I order my item with next day delivery. Ordered late evening, so expected seller to ship next day.
Thursday - Item handed over to Fedex for delivery. Package reaches Philadelphia, but tracking shows a delivery exception. Delay due to mechanical failure. Now things only begin to go wrong. Customer "service" is called numerous times, but the package doesn't move. Obviously they have no backup plan for timely delivery.
Friday - The supposed delivery day. Package still stuck in Philadelphia. More wasted time with Fedex phone toads. The package is put on a plane to Memphis, TN - even further from the delivery city.
Saturday - The package is put on a plane to my city. I foolishly assume that Fedex will make up for their screw-up, and deliver my package. After many calls to the phone toads, they claim I can get the package at the local delivery unit. I spend time driving to the unit to be told the item willl not arrive there, and even if it did, they will not give it to me per "policy". So there is no hope for even 2nd day receipt of the package.
Sunday - Obviously nothing happening.
Monday - Sitting here waiting for the driver, so they can't claim I wasn't here.
What really get me is how the phone toads lied to me about the possibility of getting my package Saturday. Even the employee at the local center admitted that their "Customer Service" is handled by another company, and that it is crap.

The moral of this story: Don't expect ANY help from the so-called Customer Service. If your package is late, tough luck. Oh, and reimbursement for shipping costs? Forget it! Only the seller can file a claim, despite the fact that YOU paid for the "service". Yes, Fedex REALLY sucks!

Then I ask to ship it to my house. When I called they said it been delivered to the holding area. What ever. So I went there and nope wasn’t there. So after a few days of throwing me around it finally arrived. Now today I’m waiting to hear back from the second bad experience. Suppose to get a my package Saturday. Yup waited and waited nothing. Then I called and they said it’s out for delivery. Then after 1-2 mins of arguing they noticed it was out for delivery Saturday. Said they’ll call me back. Yeah doubt that’ll happen. I’ll never prefer fedex again. If I have to pay an extra 10 bucks for faster shipping so ups or usps does it then it’ll be well worth it.

They destroyed the package did not deliver it at all and denied my claim even though it was totally their fault. I called and spoke to an agent that had no clue what to do. Asked for my phone number and said that someone might call me about my complaint about being denied my claim for their destroying the package. This is not the first package that broke on me. Now I have learned my lesson. VERY BAD COMPANY CANNOT BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR SALES ITEMS. NEVER USE FEDEX FOR SHIPPING. Paul

I left a signed note on my door explaining I would be at work all day and unable to sign for the package. The driver took the note and proceeded to leave a door tag and would not deliver my package.
For some reason I was not allowed to use an electronic signature online even though my package only requires an indirect signature. Once the ****** driver refused to deliver my package today, only THEN was I prompted to sign for it online.
FEDEX IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY THAT CAUSES PEOPLE HUGE INCONVENIENCES!

Fourteen hours ago, FedEX Delivery Manager sent me a delivery a scheduled delivery notification of Friday 11/1/2019. I wake up this morning and click on the link and my Delivery is now showing 11/5/2019 (four days later).

Calling customer service at FedEX is worse than a Root Canal! No help whatsoever, instead of wanting to research the issue and determine why the process did not work in this case, they want to blame the shipper and say they did not deliver the package to them. The shipper created the label and scheduled a pick-up from FedEX, the issue is FedEX MISSED the pick up date.

FedEX customer service initial rep and two supervisors above, were following a script and blaming the shipper and saying the shipper needs to contact them to confirm the shippers account number. I then asked if they had the information in the computer attached to the tracking number, the Customer service supervisor indicated she did have that information. I asked why, if she already has the information, do I have to do the research and contact the shipper? She (FedEx customer service rep) already has all the info needed to see why the package was picked up a day late, I don't understand why I have to the do the research on information they have in front of them.

FedEx does not want to accept any responsibility for any process breakdowns at all they want to point to and transfer blame to the shipper...

I called to let them know. Trying to talk a PERSON is next to impossible and really got me in extreme angry mode. Finally did get through and person said "leave it on the porch and the driver will get it."

Today is Wednesday. Over a week that box has sat on my porch. I called again today because it's a miracle it hasn't been stolen and Trick-or-Treat time is almost here.

They said someone would get it today, "right away."
6 hours later my dog was barking. I looked out and saw the truck.
I opened the door...and the truck drove away WITHOUT picking up the box.

I called again. Person said it may take a week or more for someone to get it. WHAT???? I feel bad for the lady waiting for her delivery. I'd call her to let her know, but finding a phone number is even harder to do these days, unless you're a robot-caller.

Day 1 of trouble: It's Saturday. Fedex didn't deliver my package because they "couldn't find my address" and "weren't sure if it's a business or a residence", even though they've delivered here many times. The delivery is pushed to Tuesday.
Day 2 of trouble: It's Sunday so no deliveries. I'm on the phone with Fedex's automated support service for half an hour running loops before I'm able to get to a human being on the line and explain that the address is, in fact, a residence. I'm told they can try a delivery again on Monday.
Day 3 of trouble: It's Monday. Everything looks fine until mid-day. The tracking information shows that a "delivery attempt was made" but the driver required a signature. This is the first I've seen that a signature is required. Attempting to Manage Delivery through their website is impossible because they haven't yet added my new address to Delivery Manager. I request to resend my access code. There is a door tag waiting when I get home. I sign and reapply it to the door.
Day 4 of trouble: It's Tuesday. I check the tracking information many times with no changes. At 3:30pm, after showing all day long that the package would be delivered Tuesday by the end of the day, the tracking info now shows that the package will be delivered on WEDNESDAY by the end of the day. There is no explanation as to why this is so. I arrive at home in a state of quiet rage.

I still have not received my package or my code to add my address to Delivery Manager. I'm trapped in Hell.

We think we are off for a weekend but they make us wait until the very last day to tell us, "You have to work this weekend." We never get a holiday off. NEVER. During November through January is called Peak Season and that means we work each and every single day for the next two months. They scream at employees all the time and constantly threaten their jobs. They go through employees like crazy. Now they spend more money training useless temps that don't do shit all day and don't care if they get fired because they just want the government to think they're trying to work while collecting those free government hand outs. Again, Fedex is 90 percent Puerto Rican.

They think we're prisoners instead of working class people. They force their employees to work long hours and only one 10 minute break. Wow. Somebody is paying pretty good money just for us to rage against Fedex. I never had any problems with UPS, DHL, or USPS. USPS hands down when it comes to efficiency and pricing. UPS and DHL are pricy but they are always on time at least. Fedex always reprint barcode. It is non-sense. I don"t buy it. It was sitting in the facility for 7 hours and all of sudden its barcode did not work. And, the truck left for the day. I hardly believe it was all coincidence consider how many times I went through this with Fedex. My assumption is, those warehouse people probably scanned it at wrong angle or as soon as it doesnt work they toss it to a reprint sorted box. If they really couldn't read the barcode then they probably did not handle packages properly. What in the hell how the hell did they ruin the package slip in 7 damn hours?? Either way, they suck. This will be the third time they delayed my packages before the vacation and make my purchase go absolutely right back to return. Unbelivable.

I've had continuous problems with them getting merchandise delivered for my business. They take forever to deliver; sometimes don't even bother delivering until they feel like it; they've left my packages in the snow and rain; they leave expensive merchandise (signature required) just thrown at my retail store door. I've complained numerous times and they literally told me they don't care. FedEx is a company that needs to fold . . . just horrible beyond words.

I tried calling Fed Ex and they refused to give me a phone number for the location where my package was supposed to be shipped to and were otherwise of no help what so ever. They said my package probably was going back to the shipper but they could not verify anything and said to call the shipper! What ? The package is "in their hands" and they can't tell me where it is? The company I ordered from was kind enough to resend my order free of charge. This time though I gave them a friend's address because I obviously can't trust the local courier. To my delight the package was delivered yesterday. Well guess what, a FedEx package was indeed delivered, it was not mine, it was another package delivered to the address incorrectly, and when I track that shipment it says it hasn't even been delivered yet! BUT IT WAS DELIVERED INCORRECTLY IN PLACE OF MY PACKAGE!

I ordered a shotgun in a city a few hours from where I live. I was supposed to go back in two weeks for an appointment anyway and it said 4 day shipping so I figured no big deal. I go to pick it up and they sent it to Oregon on the other side of the country. I found out the place they shipped it from is only 4 hours away. Now I have to make a separate trip to pick it up.

Separate story: I was coming home from a vacation in Mexico, I got bumped from my original flight and they sent my bag with my original flight. My bag was supposed to get mailed to me in a week. 3 weeks later they apparently delivered it but I never got it nor did my neighbors. I live on a street where only family and friends live so I know it didn't get delivered to them.

FedEx is the worst shipping company I have ever used and I will never use them by choice again.

I ordered something from Costco and it was coming from Tennessee . It was tracked to Ohio and scheduled for delivery in two days. I took the day off to be home between 8 and 8. Guess what? they never showed. I called the phone number to ask where the package was and they said it was delivered. I said " I didn't sign for anything." Then they said that they could not read the label on the package so I was going to be delivered the next day. NO PACKAGE. Now five days later they say its going to be delivered... ya sure...... I have not ever used FEDEX before and will NEVER use them again. Businesses , take note. they are destroying your company if you use them.

Two packages shipped out on the same day by the same company that I purchased from.One package contains the machine (Which has a hazardous material warning label on the box) the other has the supplement parts. The parts got delivered, the machine is presumably lost at the destination facility. Called customer service, said there was no information after arrives at destination facility and will took almost one week to investigate. I don’t know what to say, even the hazardous materials got lost by Fedex.

Yesterday, same thing, but with "delivery exception" notice, and package went back to the facility. Today, Same thing once again.... The tire I always buy is not usually available in store, otherwise I'd spent more money on it in store just to avoid dealing with fedex. I ride my motorcycle to work and school everyday and have little to no tread left and NEED my new tire to come otherwise I will end up having to waste more money ubering to school and work as I did on Wednesday because of rain. I have no problem riding in the rain, but I do when I don't have any grip or front brake power. THANKS FEDEX!! *middle finger*

DAY 1 -
My package was supposed to be delivered Friday. Got home -> wasn't there, but they left a door tag because I guess it needed a...

FEDEX IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!

DAY 1 -
My package was supposed to be delivered Friday. Got home -> wasn't there, but they left a door tag because I guess it needed a signature. ok, no problem. I will be home all weekend. Turns out FedEx doesn't deliver weekends.... ok totally fine. Maybe I could just go and pick it up today? Nope. It's on a truck and not in a designated holding location so I can't pick it up. Alright fine. Filled out the door tag and called what i believed to be the delivery facility, which redirected me to a terrible helpline service, but I eventually got to a human being, and told them that I wanted my package delivered, and that i had filled out the door tag.They said they there would be no problem with delivery and will leave a note for the driver.

DAY 2 -
I get an email at work that I have yet another delivery exception. I think "weird.... the door tag must have blown off the door and the service rep's request couldn't be fulfilled without the door tag." I get home. THEY PUT ANOTHER DOOR TAG RIGHT NEXT TO THE ONE I FILLED OUT!!! No comments. No nothing. Why did the deliver person ignore my doortag?! Did the service rep even communicate that I wanted the package delivered? I called the helpline again, and just hung up after like 5 minutes of not reaching anyone, because I was going to be at home the following day anyway.

DAY 3 -
I stayed home from work to have an electrician inspection. This was planned in advance, so I figured good timing - Now I can solve this FedEx debacle once and for all. I took a sheet of paper and wrote on it "I AM INSIDE! RING THE DOORBELL!" I figured this way if I was downstairs with the inspector, I could still hear the FedEx guy and run upstairs, and get my package, since evidently they won't just drop it off. At 10 am, hours before the inspector arrived, I got ANOTHER DELIVERY EXCEPTION!!!! THEY SAID THE DELIVERY FAILED BECAUSE 'CUSTOMER NOT AVAILABLE'. I WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THE DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY DIDN'T EVEN STOP BY THE HOUSE, BUT SAID THEY TRIED AND I WASN'T HOME!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY UNETHICAL PRACTICE FOR ANY BUSINESS!!!! I immediately called the terrible service line again, got a human being and told them what happened. They said please hold while I try to reach the deliverers, and then came back on and said they didn't pick up, but if i could leave a phone number or email they would reach out to me with any updates.

It's really important that I get this package sooner rather than later, and I don't know how to JUST GET MY PACKAGE FROM THEM! Next, I'm going to try to have them deliver it to a holding facility, and then I'll just make the drive over and pick it up. At this point, I'm absolutely convinced this that will probably go horribly too.

Package with signature required was sent with a 9:50am to 1:45pm window on Saturday (very specific times that were set by Fedex themselves). I took a shower and Fedex attempted to deliver at 9:30am. I called and asked if the package could be re-delivered or if I could catch the Fedex driver at another location on his/her route. The answer was "no we can't contact the driver and have no idea who that would be". Then I asked when the next attempt for delivery would be made
Customer Service: "on Tuesday from 9:50 to 1:45pm".
Me: "Like normal people all over the world, I won't be home at that time, I have what's known as a job."
Customer Service "What time will you be home?"
Me: "After 2pm" (this is only because I would leave early to get this package...)
Customer Service "I can request after 2pm but no promises"
Me: "Can I pick it up at a Fedex location?"
Customer Service "No, this is home delivery...after 3 failed attempts THEN we will hold it at a location"

(Then I hang up with that customer service rep, call back and get someone else)

After repeating the saga from the previous call, suddenly this customer service rep states that they can call the Fedex office and "request that the driver make another stop today". and "I just have to put you on hold to contact them".
I'm convinced they were heating up their lunch in the microwave and not really contacting anyway. Needless to say, the package was NOT delivered same day.

So then I rearrange my schedule so that I can be home during the coveted 9:50am to 1:45pm time period on Tuesday (aka more likely 8am to 8pm or whenever they feel like delivering...but you should wait all day by the door because if you're not there we'll take your package and keep it hostage for another 3 or 4 days)

Monday morning I get a text from Fedex that the package is on a truck and will be delivered today! Really? I work on Monday and arranged to be off on Tuesday...I can't believe this company is still in business especially with regard to Home delivery.

You know the old saying that misery loves company. Well this sight is obviously a spring board for that. I'm a Fedex Ground driver who handles a fairly large route in a heavily populated area. First of all, every Fedex Ground Driver is contracted through independent contractors. None of us actually work for FedEx. We work without benefits and sometimes getting treated poorly by management. With that being said though there are well meaning drivers who try to work hard to ensure that people get good service. At least half the time that someone doesn't receive a package on time is that it has been miss-sorted by the package handlers who actually work for FedEx and not the drivers themselves. Other reasons include, not putting your seemingly friendly dog who just wants to attack everybody but you, away. Dogs don't bite the hands that feed them, just everybody else. Fido is 8/10 times not friendly, hashtag personal experience. Mix ups and bad addresses on labels happen to where packages become undeliverables. This relates more to internal Fedex staff and not the contracted drivers. Sure, there are bad drivers sometimes, but generally they get washed out of the system pretty quickly. For all the complaints, people need to understand that they are not special, your driver probably has like 250 deliveries and your delivery is just one. There was a time when people went to the store to buy stuff and it is you and your neighbors and your habits that has created the modern American package delivery system. Which includes FedEx, Ups and USPS. We all have contracts with each other and the system wouldn't work without all of the big 3's cooperation. Before you bash your delivery driver, understand that there are forces at play that you choose not to understand and consider. The systemic problems that you are mentioning are more a result of bad management and the ever booming e-commerce markets that all companies are trying to adapt to the the perceived negligence of your delivery driver. One last note, stop screaming at your drivers on the side of the road telling them to slow down when their only going 3-5 mph over the speed limit, we really don't care.

They are so inconsistent! The tracking updates once every other week, if they feel like scanning your package! They change your delivery date on the fly without a word of warning or a reason why they're doing so. Do yourself a favor and pick up your own package as soon as it hits your state because they are so god damn shit at hitting the mailbox from shotgun range. I hate your shitty company! Get with the god damn program or close your doors! Get better employees and better logistics, you antiquated bastard's! For the second time in a year, a FedEx driver pulled out of our driveway and took the electrical / cable service with it. Customer "Advocate" team told me to call Ground accident phone #. They had no info, said the cae # was invalid.

Next rep promised a call from local/corporate by the end of the day. Guess what?

When I called again, I spoke with an agent with a heavy accent that no matter what I said answered "yes, yes, I understand". I picked up on this and directly asked if he knew that the Ground accident system was. "No". Don't patronize an already ticked off customer.

Spoke again to "Advocate" rep. They couldn't do anything. Escalate the matter? I had to call back tomorrow. What, you don't have internal e-mail?

I'm not lawsuit happy, but it's looking like it'll take that to get their attention.

Or maybe, see if the driver can be cited for leaving the scene of an accident...

The box clearly stated 'Adult Signature Required' but since there was nobody home, the Fedex driver didn't get that signature. Did he sign for it himself?, I wonder, He must've signed for it himself, either that or the corporation doesn't give a shit. He also left it out in the open at my back door on top of the trash can, unattended. Luckily, it wasn't stolen. I've had nothing but trouble with them Fedex Ground. They constantly leave heavy packages in front of doors so you can't open them from the inside. You have to go outside the house and walk around to get the package. The manufacturer also payed for a service they did not get. If I ran a business, I would not use Fedex Ground. If my firearm was stolen, do you think they would gladly pay a claim? Based on their performance I'd guess, no, not likely. They're are also a separate entity from Fedex Express! I have not had any problems with Fedex Express, they seem to do it the right way, as expected. Good luck to you if you use Fedex Ground!

Customer service said “the package is 2 stops away and should be there soon.” I waited a few hours and no package. I called customer service again and they couldn’t confirm that a scheduled delivery was requested. I called again and was able to connect with Customer Advocacy. They were able to confirm that I paid for a scheduled delivery and that the local facility has to accept that request before it gets processed. After several more calls I was able to talk to the local facility and they stated that they cannot find the package. They actually asked me if I wanted them to look for it. Now I have learned that they have 8 days to find it before they declare it lost. Terrible service and no hope of getting any help. I will stop using FedEx when I have a choice.

When 9/27 came I checked again and the arrival date changed to 9/28. When 9/28 came I checked only to find that there was no tracking information for my package. I assume my package is lost somewhere in the Houston facility and Fedex is going to get it to me whenever they feel like it. Screw my money, right?

Sometimes I don't have a choice of what shipping method others use, though I always offer to pay the difference for them to use anyone but FedEx. I had an item coming, the delivery date changed 4 times in 2 days, whatever... when it didn't arrive by the latest date, I tried the tracking number, which stopped working for a day. Not too excited because it's pretty much guaranteed to be late, lost or damaged, I checked the next day (yesterday), only to find out, the now-working tracking number states the delivery is on it's way back to the shipper. Upon further checking, it's listed as damaged in transit. Out of curiosity I checked this years records and found... times this year I or my businesses have used FedEx to ship = 0. Times this year others have shipped to me or my businesses 34. Deliveries that have made it to me or my businesses intact, and within a day or two of estimated time without any real problems = 0. How are they still in business???? NEVER use FedEx!!!! Not all of us can boycott every company who uses FedEx but I sure want to!

They can't immediately cut the contract, but when enough of them complain to your customer, don't be surprised when that customer change vendors. So, maybe try to deal with issues of FedEx failing to track packages or taking forever to acknowledge the status of the package when they lose them (and FedEx loses packages often because of how poorly they track ground).

-If you ordered something from Walmart and “needed it for the weekend but it didn’t get delivered”...just go to Walmart. Don’t be lazy.

There is no evil curse that turns your “two day” or “expedited” shipping service into FedEx Ground or Smartpost service. If you supposedly paid for shipping, perhaps it might be useful to pull your head out of your ass and make sure you and your shipper are on the same page. Even if you paid your shipper for service, they paid that money to us and verified every single shipment detail including the service/OpCo. Somebody is lying.
-Leading us to... No, your pkg is likely not on a VAN if it’s being shipped Ground. How can you expect the same accessibility for your pkg as with an Express pkg, when your pkg is likely on a trailer-truck with perhaps 100%-500% more volume than an express van? Delays happen. You get what you pay for. Ground and Smartpost have listed that delay may occur up to 3-7 business days from original estimated scheduled delivery date. Your ignorance/obliviousness is not our fault, and definitely not when you’re clueless about the specifics for your shipment.

-There are things called RESTRICTIONS that shippers may use to combat fraud/scammers. Yes, some pkgs are eligible to have the address corrected or to be rerouted for a pickup at your most convenient location. No, it is not a one size fits all obligation on the part of FedEx and if a recipient’s request cannot be performed ITS BECAUSE IT CANT BE PERFORMED BY YOU, OR FEDEX. Only by the shipper where exempted.

-No, FedEx is not the Shipper.

-Recipient requests/instructions generally are a courtesy for you done by FedEx, WHEN POSSIBLE. No, the courier/contractor will not disrupt his/her job functions to reattempt a delivery at your home solely because you asked to. Like I said, better safe than sorry. Confirm all service/signature requirements/restrictions with your Shipper because that is all FedEx will tell you if all YOU’RE doing is talking out of your rear claiming how unprofessional it is of us to not honor your petty/self-entitled/ill-informed request.

-Yes, I will be the first to state that FedEx messes up. But there is a difference between helping someone get a health-sustaining device/medicine and bothering the station because you “have a job” and don’t want to accept any of our complementary (NON-RESTRICTED) delivery/PU options (THAT CAME WITH THE SERVICE PAID BY THE SHIPPER) and can’t shell out the $$$$ on FedEx.com to make the stars align and pick the exact date and time for your delivery.

Basically, FedEx will try to accommodate you within the Shipper’s parameters, but the Shipper is our true customer. You are the shipper’s customer.

Amazon delivery via Fedex. I bought a new laptop on Amazon and it was shipped with Fedex. It needed my signature for delivery. The delivery itself took 12 fking days (longer than it ever took for any of my Amazon India orders) and then starts the Fedex shit. They attempt delivery at my apartment 3 times and say it failed every time! My building like most ones, has a card lock at the entrance. They don't call me/text me/notify me via Fedex app that my parcel is nearby / has arrived. They just come at a random time, look at the fkin locked door and put up that bloody form on the door and leave! I called Fedex customer care, and they say they'll re-attempt delivery the next day...but how the f%@k am I supposed to know when they'll arrive at my place? I will be sitting in my apartment on the top floor not knowing when they'll arrive and they could just come at anytime between 8AM to 8PM. Or do they expect us to keep waiting in front of our house the whole day? I don't know why I'm not even allowed to give "delivery instructions" for my order.

Back home in India, they call you and tell you that they're waiting at a certain location. Sometimes I even had instances where the delivery person was so nice, they came back to my place to deliver after I reached home, if they were nearby. They even give you an estimated time when they'll come etc.

At last I decided to place a drop off at nearby supermarket for tomorrow where I can pick it up later.

Am I missing something? How does this even work in general? Is it such a big security risk to give us a live tracking of where the package is? or is it so hard to at least give a masked phone number to contact the delivery person?

So as a bit of an update, the reason the package wasnt delivered yesterday (18th) the day it was supposed to be delivered was because it never made it onto the delivery truck. Again marking fedex as just a shit company but who cares. The dude told me that my laptop would likely be delivered today (19th) despite what the app say. Again showing fedex is more incompetent than malicious but again I dont care at this point. I also saw on here that you can just pick up your packages as fedex locations, something other delivery companies probably do but I've just never heard of so props to fedex I guess (never thought I'd say that). But I'm gonna spend another whole f%@king day waiting for the fedex delivery and if they do the same "pending" to scheduled delivery the 33rd bullshit I'm gonna try and go for an instore pick up. Again I'm gonna go deal with this bullshit and I'll once again update this again when everything is said and done. With how fast this has seemed to go so far though that may very be sometime in the 2020s so who knows.

I soon learned that the package was being delivered by fedex, didnt think much of it however. A day after I order my package, in what may be the first and only case of fedex being early, I come home to a letter on my door saying that a delivery was attempted but no one was home. LIKE NO f%@kING SHIT NOBODY WAS HOME YOU WERENT SUPPOSE TO BE HERE TODAY. They didnt alert me they would be early or anything, just happened on by without a word to me they would be there. Fair enough they'll just deliver my package tomorrow, the day they were suppose to deliver it. So I get up early and being the waiting game for them to arrive. I started around 9 and once it gets on around 430 I get nervous so I check the app. The delivery date has changed from the 17th to the pending. Again, like an idiot, I dont think much of this, I assume it just means the delivery guy is scanning packages as delivered as he gets close to the house he delivers them to. No big deal. About thirty minutes later, again with no update on their part, the status changes once again, I only realize because at this point I'm a obsessively refreshing the delivery status and I see it change from pending to scheduled delivery on the 18th. WHY IN GODS NAME THEY DIDNT HAVE THE DECENCY TO TELL ME EITHER THAT IT WOULD BE DELIVERED ON THE 19TH BEFORE I SAT AROUND ALL DAY. But regardless I call them to try and sort this out. A lady who does not speak english answers and does her best to try and answer my question, first answering the wrong question and then offering to call me on the 18th to explain why my package is delayed. I hang up on her because she was being no help at all, and I just prepare myself to wait it out again tomorrow. Around 2 am on the 18th (when I'm writing this) I wake up and check my phone. The normal notifications are all there and as I'm going through them I see a fedex notification, for some reason I thought it was going to be an explanation as to why my package is late, as I open it however I realize my mistake. It is not an explanation, but a delay once again. It is not delayed for the 19th, A DAY I CANNOT BE AT MY HOUSE DURING MOST OF THE DELIVERY WINDOW. Alright I'll get it pushed back to saturday, oh wait that's right I CANNOT BE AT MY HOUSE FOR MOST OF THE DAY FRIDAY SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. Since I begin school on monday that means I wont be able to be at my house on monday either THE f%@kING DAY I NEED MY PACKAGE GOD f%@kING DAMN IT FEDEX I NOW UNDERSTAND THE PHRASE GOING POSTAL. Im going to call them in the morning and ask if I can just pick the package up at their facility since it's not even gonna be on a truck tomorrow. I'll enlighten this site with a summary of how that goes since I can only imagine it will be as smooth as the rest of this has been.

Tl:dr FedEx is a shit company that turned 2 day shipping into what is likely gonna be 2 week shipping

So far it has taken A WEEK for a package to be moved from its starting location in Mississauga ON, to Cambridge ON, a drive that would take a normal person 1-2 hours. I am praying that it will be delivered today, since on the tracker it apparently says it is on the truck, but so far it has taken them nearly 2 and a half hours to get from Cambridge to my house 30 min away... and I'm still waiting!

FedEx is just awful. How it stays in business is beyond me. Today I was expecting a package, and when I tracked it, it said it had been delivered, but sitting on my front porch was a package for someone else, and the two addresses were nothing alike.

I call them and of course get someone from another country that I can barely understand. I told them I received the wrong package, gave them the tracking number on that package, and the address it was supposed to be delivered to. They tell me to put it back on my front porch and someone will be by to pick it up, so then I ask them WHERE is my package, and they said it had been delivered, but NOT TO ME, which was the whole problem.

So then he asks my name and phone number and he starts pecking away at his computer. This went on for several minutes, and then he said "call us back because our system is down". Now how am I supposed to know when their stupid system is back up in order to call them again?

Meanwhile, the other person's package still sits on my front porch. FedEx needs to be driven out of business for their shoddy service and horrendous customer service. Give me the good old USPS any day.

I was expecting a package tone delivered on Sept 13th but never received it, status still said it was in Oceanside, CA. from the shipping date of Sept 9th. No updates on tracking as I signed up for. I call regarding my package and was unwilling (like pulling teeth, literally) informed that the trailer was involved in an accident in route to my state and ALL packages were destroyed 🤔. Crazy how I haven’t heard of this on national or local news yet. Then I was instructed to contact the seller for them to open a claim for a refund. If I didn’t need BP meds before, I certainly do now🤯🤬! So I immediately reach out to the seller on Mercari, then to Mercari personally and to PayPal directly to try and get assistance because as you know FedEx doesn’t give 2 🐁 a$$’s about their customers. Now comes the waiting game to get a refund. I will never recommend FedEx to anyone.

When I called the customer service line, they "proudly" call this twice attempts a "service". After a final attempt, if they don't deliver on the day I am be at home, this shipment will be returned to the shipper. And they don't accept this shipment go to a different address.

Discovered that scammers love using fedex because they can order things for themselves from places like walmart or a third party, and then fed ex for the most part not deliver to you because you have to be a shipper to have the product delievred. As a buyer in the fedex triangulation you don't have much authority even if your name is on the parcel.
It was a goddamned headache for the past month with this damn package untill it finally went back to where it came from. Not the shipper who used me to for something for themselves. So much aggraivation, from now on I will not buy from people whom use fed ex.
Some of the employees really do try thier best but can't cut through the red tape. Alot of the time you are lied to when the tracking info is right in front of your face and you have to keep calling untill you get an honest employee who will do their best and admit the truth.
Like I said not all fed exs fault when someone is using them to rip people off.

Tracking showed it was delivered at front door today at 10:54 am. Nowhere to be found. Called FedEx and rep tells me that he was there and then took package back. I was home at that time and would have heard-seen truck. Now it won't be delivered til tomorrow-So they say. Causes all kinds of anxiety by saying its delivered when it's not. Driver should be made to come back with package. I doubt he was even here today. What a crappy company-ugh

I've had other past grievances with FedEx, but my current annoyance is that the tracking hasn't updated with ANY information for FOUR days now since I got the email informing me that my packages were on the way, which in the email it told me to allow 24-48 hours for the tracking number to be recognized on their sub-par site. What the heck is taking so long, and why doesn't the info show up once the tracking number's been made??

Woow….where to begin!? I have had a package that came from New Jersey to Baltimore still not be delivered, now going on the 5th (shipping) day! initially my package was sent out on Thursday Sept 5, 2019 My package hasn't been delivered nor do they know where my package is apparently as of (September 11, 2019) I initially began to be worried when I received one package from the same seller and purchase (just the accessories) and the main component had not been delivered. Apparently, the delivery was never was even attempted. So Saturday I call, and was informed by several customer service reps that my package was on a truck and it would be delivered that day by 8pm. Of course that not where the story ends people!

Sunday there aren't any deliveries, ok no problem. I wait until Monday to check in on everything.

Monday comes and I'm "assured the package is on the truck and out for delivery this time they tell me because this is a business, that the package will be delivered by 6pm but has the option to go up until 8pm, but it will be delivered. Wait all day at home only to be disappointed yet again.

So, at this point I'm concerned for my items. Why it seems like no one can pinpoint a delivery time so right before 8pm, approx. 7:20pm, I call back and ask that I just have the package held at the facility so that it can simply be picked up. At this time I have already spoken to several reps who repeatedly gave me wrong information so much so that I was speaking with a Ground Trace Supervisor by the name of Wendy who gave me a reference number for this procedure. Wendy said she is in Texas and really can do anything other that put in the request. So the request was made.

Taking us to Tuesday. Tuesday I wait around till 2 pm hits and I check the tracking number states its not available for pickup. The package is supposed to be dropped off to a FedEx drop box in order for me to pick it up the rep stated to me it would be there by approx. 12 or 1pm. Upon calling in at 2pm I find out that the request wasn't processed internally and no one at the station complied with said request. Pissed off all over again! In addition to not knowing where the package is because in the computer system on my end it says "Hold at facility". Well that was Monday night at 7:30pm no updated tracking information has been reported on this tracking number since then.

Today is Wednesday September 11, 2019 after calling several times I have spoken to over 14 people 3 of which have been "supervisors" (I use that term extremely loosely) regarding this case and literally everyone tells me something different. Now I've been advised yesterday if I don't receive a package by Thursday September 12, 2019 I should contact the seller. Whaaaaat!? So the complete incompetency of FedEx is not to blame just contact the seller to send another one? I can make a complaint but to no avail because it literally did nothing! Problem is the item in question was and still is on backorder and will not have any other units in for who knows how long. I had already been waiting over a month to receive this package FOR MY BUSINESS!

Now currently they still have no idea where my package is and from the reviews from the station in which it was sent to for processing and distributionits 99% probably stolen. Just if you have a minute do a google search on FedEx in Sparrows Point, Md. This issue isn't something new im sure corporate is aware of this however no one seems to be doing anything about it. There needs to be a lawsuit against them! They need to shut down this distribution center IMMEDIATELY! Especially if this is the service level everyone is being afforded. Missing work, time from family, pushing back booked shoots, etc this has been a complete and horrible nightmare to deal with. I WILL BE ENSURING NOONE IN MY FAMILY WILL EVER USE FEDEX SERVICE. IN ADDITION I WILL BE MAKING A PUBLIC VIDEO IN REFRENCE TO ALL OF THIS AND WILL POST TO AS MANY SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS AS I CAN. THIS NEEDS TO STOP BEING THE NORMAL BUSINESS PRACTICE FOR THE PLACE.

I have literally not one time received a package on time from them... ever. Most of the time it will be bounced back and forth to regional hubs for no apparent reason then, unless I am really lucky, end up in some other part of the state with the tracking now showing that "they don't know when my package will arrive". Ha! what a joke. Last time I had given it up for lost when it finally arrived ONE MONTH LATER with the box shredded and close to destroyed. Today I am waiting on them for a package that shows it is not even in the city yet. I will be absolutely shocked if it actually gets here today.

Now I had a phone sent from verizon and they use crap fedex and verizon said it would be at my house today but of course fedex put down that the address was wrong so they didn't have to deliver it and they are only open from 9am to 1pm what a joke. Parcel2go won't help the merchant because I signed for the package upon. FedEx doesn't want to help me because I am not the shipper. I filed a claim anyway, then took FedEx to court, because the merchant and Parcel2go conduct their business in the U.K.(untouchable) I lost the small claims case due to not having a preponderance of evidence despite the fact I brought in pictures of the damaged item and receipts declaring the value and also the fact the judge may have watched too much Judge Judy. FedEx and Parcel2go are complicit and will not hold themselves accountable. It's like they are using the rule book from the CIA and SIS(MI6) using plausible deniability as a form of protection from the small population of the general product receiving damaged parcels.

So on the 4th when my daughter arrived home at about 3:30 PMZ another door tag said they were there at 1:40 PM!! FEDEX then told her she'd have to pick it up at their ststuon. She doesn't gave a truck. So I called them, was referred to customer service, joke, and told I'd have to pay $15 for delivery. I said OK and made arrangements for delivery todsy, September 6 after 4 PM....guess what.. no on showed. I called the local Santa Fe office and was given the run around and lied to and was told it would NOT be delivered and we'd gave to pick it up...I was not happy with the gut and he hung up on me. I called customer service, joke, again and was given even a bigger run around...unbelievable so I requested a supervisor...think the guy was in China and after 25 minutes or so I realized he was nothing more than a corporate apologist stooge for the worst delivery company on Earth...so in the meantime my daughter was hanging around waiting for her delivery.....I had to call her and tell her it wasn't being deliveeed. I asked for the corporate office number but the stooge wouldn't give it to me. BTW if I hadn't called my daughter would still be waiting....FEDEX is a self serving corporate rip off vompany...there IS NO customer service only people whose English is hard to comprehend and who really don't care about the customer. So now I'm going to hire a local mover to get her furniture but get this...my daughter gas to show up in person with the mover to get the items...my advice....AVOID FEDEX AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

Town A doesn't send my package to my town's FedEx facility as one would expect, no, they send my package to Town B's FedEx facility (48.6 miles between Town A and Town B), which is already stupid, but it doesn't end there, the package has left Town B's facility not once, not twice, but THREE times, and two of those times the package left, and returned to the same facility. Currently my package is in transit from Town B's facility to God knows where, but if by some miracle it's coming to my town's facility, let me ask you a perfectly valid question.. would it not have been easier to send my package from Town A's facility, again, 55 miles straight to my town's facility.. or send it 48.6 miles to Town B and then *checks Google Maps* 81.7 F*CKING MILES BACK TO MY TOWN MEANING THE PACKAGE HAS TRAVELED 130.3 POINTLESS F*CKING MILES RATHER THAN 55?!

I spoke with one agent who assured me that it was going to be delivered today and then 5 minutes later another agent tells me it will be deliver tomorrow and the internet tracking now says tomorrow after two days of saying it was today. Not the first time and probably not the last.

Also the foreign CS people are hard to understand and NOT helpful at all.

I won't ship fedex and I can only try to persuade my vendors to drop them.

Update on today’s fiasco(2 below this)...
On the last post it was after 6pm, although I talked to Fed-Ex multiple times, was informed that they had until 8pm to deliver and that it was “on the truck and out for delivery”... guess what??!! At 7:50PM the tracking changed to “pending”... no delivery attempt, so I went down to the hub (13 minutes away from my location!). I was able to get them to locate the truck and package and bring it to me. (Shout out to Dave at the hub!! The only Fed-Ex employee who helped, had empathy and and a sense of urgency about getting me my parts all friggin day!)
It’s now 2:26am and I have my customers motorcycle ready for pickup tomorrow at 8am. Of course, if it would have shipped UPS ground it would have been done during normal business hours 2 days ago!! Fed-Ex sucks!!!!

So you won’t think my post below an isolated incident. Ordered some frozen steaks 2 day delivery, dry ice, insulated box. Delivery day comes, been waiting all day and have a customer emergency I need to go help with... Even though it says on the address label of the package “leave at door”, I’m concerned so I leave an 8”x11” bright yellow note on door “had customer emergency, Fed-Ex, please leave package at door... or knock loud!” (As my GF was out back but knocking would make the dogs bark.... )
Checking tracking on my phone says “delivery attempted will try next business day”. Get home check security cameras (there’s 8 in front) driver got out of truck, took two steps towards business and just turned around and got back in.
Called fed-ex, got told tough shit be next day...
Next day driver shows up, shrapnel everywhere in his face, hat backwards and big sagging holes where his earlobes used to be... my steaks have been haphazardly repacked in a Fed-ex box as now the dry ice is gone and everything defrosted destroying the original box as well as most of the Fed-ex box...
Driver tries to hand me this mass of wet cardboard and thawed steaks. “I’m refusing it... why didn’t you leave the package here yesterday as both the note on the door as well as the delivery label say to do?? Or simply knock?” “Dude, I knocked a couple times and nobody answered...”
Point out the cameras above the door, storefront and driveways... “want to tell me again how you knocked? See’s cameras... says “I didn’t knock...”. No shit? Hate Fed-Ex

Further, I was HOME sick the last two times they claimed they tried to deliver and there was NO delivery attempt! I think their drivers are off drinking somewhere all day and then claiming no one was home when they tried to deliver packages. They are THE WORST ground service in the entire country!

End of the day, package delivery date changed to the following day. Ok? Thats cool. Getting excited I guess.
Next morning, package is several states away(NJ)
Called several facilities... package shows as being sent to CA on my end, got assured that its being sent to CT.
Then estimated delivery is changed to another week?
Assured that package was coming to CT.
So why six days and destination CA?
Asked if package was attempted to be deliverd and thays why iy floayed back and foryh 2o min from my house, told it was never attempted??
I login to my account and it states I have no packages in transit.
WTF.
Heard the fed ex down the road reviews were all terrible but this one makes no sense at all.

Every time they deliver a package to my house, they throw it in the driveway, toss it in the fountain, or leave it on the sidewalk even though I always specifically request that the package be left at the FRONT DOOR. And that’s only when I bought lucky enough to get the package brought to the correct address - half of the time it is delivered to the wrong house!
I have never had these issues with UPS!

Well I got an email saying it was delivered, but I was literally sitting my my front room window on my phone waiting for it, and I got a delivery email. No guy came to the door, no truck, so I went around my neighborhood in a block radius and no one had it. I contacted FedEx and they said they couldn't do anything about it and they cut off communication, so I went to the seller and it took two days to verify that FedEx had lost it and I wasn't tryna come them or smthn, then it took another 2 weeks to get here, by ups so it was done right.

I said yes that's fine so they ordered from the Manufacturer and they manufacturer was bck ordered on that Item so I had to wait months just for it to ship. When it finally did ship I saw that they shipped with FedEx...... I knew from previous experience I was in for some crap. They can never find my address, but they also never seem to look. I'm 3 days into it with hours and days wasted waiting for them to show. Each day they tell me that they cannot find my address even though all day long in the hot August sun I am sitting outside waiting watching every single car that passes by. Not one single FedEx truck. I've been on the phone with them every day giving them directions in minute detail on how to find my place. It couldn't be simpler. I was assured yesterday that they would send my package today, but they never bothered to send it from the distribution center and it was automatically marked as "Can not locate recipiant" so they never even bother to try again. I was on the phone again today with them and they said they would have the driver call me. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

I ended up having to single-handedly haul a very heavy machine up the stairs, and I'm a 125 pound woman. I pulled a muscle in my back doing it. Complete load of bullshit - if the slacker Fedex guy couldn't or wouldn't deliver it to the door, then he should have left a note asking me to make alternate delivery arrangements. Instead he dumped a $500 machine at the wrong door. Go back to working at the drive-thru you freakin' bum. Asking people if they want Arby's or Horsey sauce is all you're fit for.

Fed-Ex tracking shows the package is out for delivery, signature required. OK, like most Americans, we work. Nobody is home to sign. Package is not delivered. Tracking portal gets updated. Per the message on the portal, they will attempt delivery again tomorrow, or I can pick up the package after 8PM, at their warehouse 35 minutes away. I check their business hours. They close at 7PM. So I call customer service to confirm this idiotic loop. After 10 minutes of digital speech reading aloud to me the information I already see on the portal, they connect me to a person who also reads everything back to me. The end result? In a nutshell, I can take off work tomorrow to sit by the door and wait for Fed-Ex. Or, I can ask them to hold the package tonight, and then drive 35 minutes each way to pick up the package tomorrow after work. I ask, at his point, what is the purpose of paying for express delivery? Wait another day. Drive an hour after work. Heck, at that point, it's not delivery at all. It's hybrid shipping... you go partway, I'll finish the job. Incredible. You want a signature. I get it. But if I, the consumer, can't be present during the business day, then you, the service provider, ought to facilitate a pick-up time or mechanism for someone who has paid for a non-standard service... express delivery. Pick it up after 8, but we close at 7... ridiculous!

The second ( replacing the first ) tracking# 789358826113 was shipped on 8-27-19 and was supposed to be in La Grande Oregon 8-28-19 but instead is sitting in Memphis Tenn. I’m pretty DAMN sure this package will be ruined by the time I receive it. I would like to know what FedEx will do to make this right and why can’t you deliver on time. The items in this package take time to prepare for shipping, and there’s a strong possibility that those items may not be available for round 3 of mis delivery.

At 6:30 checked the status and now showed the package should be delivered tomorrow. Called their CS who I had a hard time understanding and think he said the truck had a problem and returned at 6 PM. Most others would have put orders on another truck and continue to deliver all the packages that were on the truck but not Fed EX which seems like delivery dates are not important to them. CS says the package will be delivered around 2 PM tomorrow but he couldn't say if they are going to try and use the same truck again.

I changed the day of delivery after unsuccessful attempt, but nothing happened. No explanation, nothing, just a no-show. And booking the new to begin with had to be done over phone when all their other communication happens over email. And ah so many other details. This is the third time I had to use FedEx and the last two time made my miss a deadline on the delivery of two important artworks. Amazing.

I checked the tracking info on that day and it said my package was on the truck and out for delivery. It wasn’t delivered. I thought maybe this delivery required a signature and that’s why they hadn’t delivered it. I called customer service the following morning and the young lady from India assured me that no signature is required and that the package would be delivered that day. I checked the tracking info again and now it said my delivery would be made by end of day 8/24/19 Believe it or not, the delivery was again not made. I called customer service again that evening to find out what was going on and I spoke to another agent in India. He opened a case because they apparently lost the package. The package being 37”x17”x7”. It seems losing a package that size would require effort. If only they would put that kind of effort into finding it. About an hour after the case was opened, I received a call from a fedex agent here in the states. She told me she was working on my case and assured me my package would be delivered on the following Monday. She also told me she would call me again on Monday to follow up. The package was not delivered on Monday nor did I receive a follow up phone call. It’s now Tuesday morning and the tracking on my package hasn’t been updated since Saturday. It just says “no delivery date available at this time”. I also called customer service on Monday night after the third missed delivery and spoke to a man here in the states who just couldn’t seem to care less about my issue or that no one had called me as promised. He told me he would add a note to the case that said I would be expecting a call Tuesday morning. I said thanks and he hung up without another word. I decided to write this review while I waited for the call that I know isn’t going to come. Going forward, I will never buy anything that has to be shipped via fedex. If they’re the only shipping option offered by the seller, then I’ll find another seller.

Fedex has got to be the worst package delivery service on the planet. UPS has no problem getting packages from the middle of nowhere to my door in 20% of their expected delivery time. I ordered a single item through Walmart and they pulled from a location in Louisville which is where Fedex picked it up. I live in Elizabethtown, which is 50 miles maximum from any of the Fedex locations in Louisville. All FedEx had to do was put it in a truck, in a van, in a car, on the back of a mule and it could have been here already. I could have WALKED from my house and picked it up by this point.

Fedex picked it up on Friday. It is Sunday and it is still sitting in the same Fedex location as it was Friday. Expected delivery is Monday, which I don't believe at all because I doubt Fedex could find their asses with both hands and a map, much less figure out how to drive down I-65 for an hour.

Surely theres no way it takes 10 days to get a package from that short of a distance. Well the part wasn't shipped out until the following wednesday where it made its way to charlotte in less than a day. So I figure my package would come in the following day seeing as though charlotte is less than 15 miles from my house. NO... The package sat in charlotte all day then was shipped out at 3am and didn't arrive to concord until 12:57pm the next day. It is still sitting in concord at their location where they refuse to touch it until Monday so they can meet their quota I guess. Absolutely ridiculous

I have personally had a 100% success rate at getting pizza delivered but Fedex can figure out how to get a package to me. Just had a package shipped to me from less than 20 miles away and they send it all the way from the west coast to Memphis TN, just so they can send it right back to the same airport it left out of, more than 3,000 miles round trip, and will most likely not be delivered like every other one that comes Fedex. UPS delivers with zero problems, USPS delivers with zero problems, Fedex just fails every time.

We have been waiting for a package being shipped from the MidWest to the west coast. It took 6 days to make it to a neighboring town. Cool. But WAIT, we gotta send your package on a joy ride to the furthest end of another state. They then tried and failed to pass the package to a real carrier, USPS, but FAILED, because how f%@king hard is it. So the package arrives back at the same neighboring city it was at 3 days later, but this time they send it to my city. It was in town for one glorious morning, only to be jettisoned BACK to the other side of another state, where it FINALLY was passed off the USPS. Who have yet to deliver the f%@king package. It has been over two weeks.

Two identical packages sent, BOTH on truck for delivery on Fri 5/16 but only ONE gets delivered. The package that does arrive looks like it was dragged behind truck for the last mile to my door.

Two identical packages sent, BOTH on truck for delivery on Fri 5/16 but only ONE gets delivered. The package that does arrive looks like it was dragged behind truck for the last mile to my door.

Package 2 of 2 shows "delivery exception" and that it will be delivered on next business day (Mon 5/19). 4 am on 5/19 shows "on truck for delivery by end of day" and yet at end of day not delivered -- status shows delivery by end of day Tues 5/20.

Called customer service and learn it will "100% definitely be delivered on Tuesday." End of day on Tues 5/20, no delivery and now tracking site says delivery by end of day 5/21. I call useless customer service again, ask where I can pick up package myself ... waste 15 minutes on hold while they CONFIRM with local station that package is there and will be held for pickup. They say I can only pick up between 9am-11am or 5pm-6pm from station. Wed 5/21 status shows package at local station. I drive 30 minutes to station, arrive at 9am and wait for 45 mins while they confirm package is NOT there but was put on truck -- at 9:11 am -- and is not out for delivery. They even call 3 layers of management and "confirm" that package was scanned onto a specific truck. Will be delivered for sure before end of day. It was not. 9pm and still no status other than "pending delivery" on tracking site. Ass clowns.

Now your package is back to being delivered on the day it was originally expected. That’s fine, but don’t f%@king tell me it’s getting delivered a day early then rescind that statement. It’s a good thing I’ve experienced these false promises from Feed-up-with-x in the past and didn’t expected it to really be delivered early.

I typically receive FE deliveries before 5 and I work from home so everything is usually kosher. Of course the ONE signature required package I get this year comes at 7:30pm, during the half hour I have to pick up my kid from a school event.

I tried to obtain a signature release prior to post on the door but that not allowed like UPS. Called the number, they said no dice, I must be present. They would not let me redirect the shipment. They told me to go online to request it.

I tired to register an online ID to redirect the shipment. This requires a mailed (USPS) code which takes 3-5 days.

The sticky left on the door was not filled out. Called the number, apparently I can leave the sticky with a signature which allows the driver to leave the package? Why couldn’t do this for the original delivery?

Agent told me the driver may still opt to not leave the package, their discretion.

Exception handling is a dumpster fire of conflicting policy. Wouldn’t it be easier (and cheaper) to allow customers more control?

Sorry for the rant but the most important package of the year for me is trapped in FedEx purgatory.

When I checked the detailed tracking history, it showed *2* delivery attempts.....so why, 1) didn't they leave it in the secure locked building that the delievery person has the key for ( see fedex packages left all the time in the bldg. vestibule. 2) why wasn't I left a door tag on either day saying they attempted a delivery? 3) why wasn't I sent an automated email updating me when I had been receiving emails all along and had checked all the boxes to notify me for everything, including "delivery exception. Spent almost 30 min dealing with a useless CSR with long periods of silence where I thought maybe I was disconnected and an equally useless supervisor who's final response before I hung up was, "no, there's nothing we can do to help you. They will come tomorrow and the next day when I'm not home and not leave my package again. It's a $15 item and the sender didn't require signature, and since they didn't leave a hang tag, I can't sign to say leave it, and no they won't send it to a different address even though that's offered as an option on the website. So I can take the day off from work and hope they ring my buzzer, stay home all day Saturday and hope they ring my buzzer or have the item shipped back to the seller. Smartpost sucks balls and doesn't even do a good job at ball sucking! Ugh!!!

Package has been out for delivery for 2 days in a row from a location that is 10 miles away from its destination, why IDK, there are more facilities that are a lot closer. By the end of the day it gets rescheduled to the next subsequent day. The tracking website basically serves no use if a package is going to keep saying that its going to arrive by the end of day. Seems like an endless loop going on and the fact you can't do anything with the tracker and instead call people who only guess (not ensure) that the situation will be rectified is absolutely absurd.

Let's face it, this is day 3, the people over there don't know what they are doing or not doing what they are supposed to do. I honestly should just tell the shippers by special request to avoid using fedex.

I find myself calling back 2:30 a nice rep said they would send a message to driver letting them know we close 4:30 and to deliver before.
Again I called back 4:30 to checkup and was told they could be there up until 8pm as if nothing happened. Here I am waiting until 8 and NOTHING from FedEx! Not even a phone call, an email. Hows that for service and ownership.
10PM I call and get transferred around like an blender for 30 minutes until a supervisor finally gets on the phone and acknowledges the system doesn't show anything different and has nothing to update me with other than it will be delivered like they said 4x today. David said he would call me back tnt or tomorrow with an update....

No call, no show! Made a note that no one was home, left note on the door. I live back a private lane and I get alerts on my phone when people come and go. No FedEx seen on the camera history, no note found! Then when I called they said they couldn’t find the house. So mad! Ended up having them deliver it to work. Made sure they were aware it was a business and we were onsite from 7:00-4:00. They tried to deliver at 9:37 pm!!! WTF FedEx!! Finally had to meet the driver an hour away from home to take delivery of my phone. Now here we go again! Just tried to have another phone delivered but this time straight to work. It's impossible to make any arrangements because their delivery date changes at the last possible second all the time. Then, when you see these last minute changes and try to manage the delivery to have it held somewhere or schedule an evening delivery (which you have to pay for, really?) the changes take so god damn long to process that they just attempt delivery anyway... which of course fails. I don't have these issue with UPS or USPS... it's only FedSux. f%@k them.

Tracking went to pending for 3 days at which time the status went to DELIVERED 8/2/19 which IT WAS NOT. I have been battling with Fedex and the seller since. Both claiming it says delivered, neither of which can prove to me through GPS or what have you it was. Both agreeing they see how odd the tracking was during shipment. I am out $380.00 with out the ability for refund without the package returned.

This year Fedex has done a terrible job. Packages are either late or damaged. They have been sending packages on scenic tours. I'm in Arkansas, ordered items from the Northeast. Some made it to Arizona and one as far as California. I can't imagine how that could happen. The shipper sent new items. Most of the damage can be blamed on wally world not packing properly, but the carrier shouldn't tape up damage where liquid has leaked and deliver without making the customer aware and you get a surprise when you open the box. I can't remember the last time I had a problem with USPS or UPS compared to being a pleasant surprise if Fedex delivers without some issue.

Don't hand your Fedex ground package to Fedex ground driver. They will give you an attitude, won't accept, or simply accept but charges you $3.00 pickup fee per package even if you didn't call in for pickup and they were just in front of your office delivering.
That is because these drivers are independent company working for FedEx and don't get credit for those packages that were just handed to them.

They are not like UPS. So, don't assume they work like them.

I called FedEx and account rep supervisor. told me that those drivers are not allowed to pickup any packages that are not scheduled (So, they have right to give me an attitude?) She said "Yes" that is probably why they gave me an attitude. Wow, what a great customer service skill.

At the same time she asked me to request daily pickup for weekly fee. I wanted to do it so I don't have to drive to FedEx drop off everyday but she gave me a such a bad attitude about pickup time slot to pickup location, I said forget it and hung up.

To my dismay the seller shipped it via FedEx. The tracking info shows the correct address and such, and the delivery was supposed to happen yesterday. Yesterday morning I received notification that my guitar had been delivered at 10:47 am, so I headed to the front of the shop to collect my parcel. Nothing. No delivery. In fact, FedEx hadn't even been to our complex yet that day. I give it a few minutes, because we've had issues with FedEx marking things as delivered and then actually delivering them a half hour or more later. Still nothing. Contact customer support. Get the usual scripted brush off. Finally get some assistance after tweeting about the situation, and am put in touch with a Customer Care Advocate. At least this guy's trying to locate it, and has been in touch with me, but as yet I still do not have my guitar, nor do I have any idea when/if I'll get it.

How hard is it to read an address off a label and deliver something to that address?!?!

I ordered an item from Sams Club which weighed around 100 pounds and bulky to be delivered by FedEx. A week later a FedEx truck backed up to my driveway and pushed my order out the truck door on to the driveway and then he just drove away.

I'm guessing they don't have hand-trucks.

I needed to return the item and a FedEx guy came back to my home to pick it up. When the truck arrived, the driver walked around in the road in front of my house while on his cell phone for a few minutes and then told me he could not pick up the return. I am guessing the item was to heavy??

Sams Club customer service had to hire a trucking company to pick up the return item.

I next ordered a similar item from Costco which weighed approximately the same 100 pounds. UPS delivered the bulky heavy item and one guy put the item on my front porch, which has 7 steps up to the porch all by himself. He had some hand-trucks but didn't use them up the steps. The UPS man did more than I expected.

I order black rifle coffee regularly and FedEx is involved with the delivery. It takes OVER a week to deliver a few pounds of coffee from the time I am informed my package has shipped. Only has to go from the shipping center located in the adjacent state to me, probably no more than 500 miles.



UPS has problems too but I have not had a bad experience with them and I use them almost weekly.

FedEx sucks!! They just never call me even if I pay extra money to ask them send at 5-8pm. They fxxking just ignore the stupid door tag after they tag it. The delivery just want to do nothing, I think...

The delivery just want to do nothing, I think maybe the just drive through all the apartment and then send out the message of deliver attempted even someone is sitting there waiting for the package. All of them are fuxking in-educated idiot or moron, including the delivery and the customer service. Try to talk to them will impair your both IQ and EQ.
The best way is to ask before you buy next time. If they tell you they’ll use FedEx, directly tell them you’re f%@king changing your mind and you guys better stop using FedEx staring from now, cause it sucks!!!!!!!!!!

I just hung up on FedEx after THEY called ME and left me a voicemail telling me the package they were trying to deliver to ME has the wrong address and that I need to call THEM with a correct address....

When I call, they tell me only the SHIPPER can change the address so I need to contact the SHIPPER. Not only is that stupid- why didn't FEDEX call the damn SHIPPER instead of calling me? But I have NO IDEA WHO sent the package so I can't contact the SHIPPER and FEDEX won't tell me who the SHIPPER is!!! Totally, unequivocally stupid on all counts.

i ordered a laptop and i checked the tracking and it mentioned the package was in irving. I was in irving at the time and i called them to pick up the item from their hub. lady said i could not do that . so i was like o ok can i have it delivered at a walgreens then. she said sure thats gonna be about 3 more days to get there. I was like plano is not 3 days away from irving . but whatever so i check tracking and it says package on truck for delivery same status allllll day. i call fedex on monday around noon to confirm item is actually being delivered and someone was like yes thats what it says.

so after waiting all day on a status update in the tracking i ended up drving to the walgreens and they said nothing was dropped off.

i call fed ex again. a lady told me since the package required a signature they can't deliver it to a walgreens. not only that the walgreens people refused the package so it had to be driven all the way back to irving.

i asked the lady the obvious questions why did no one call me or email or update the tracking with the error or anything usefull.
then i asked why the f%@k did they offer the walgreens option if they can't deliver the item there.
so now the status has said on truck for delivery for 48 hours.

still waiting on item. i avoid fedex shipping and don't buy from people that ship fedex.

Granted I'm used to never getting my packages delivered at home since most people aren't home at noon on a Tuesday. And have become totally trained to pickup the package at a Fedex site. But, having to always spend 30 minutes on the phone to get it transferred to a site and not being able to get it delivered to the preferred site and delaying delivery for at least 48 hours awaiting that transfer to occur and the ridiculous message stating Fedex tried to deliver my package when in fact the truck pulled into the Fedex warehouse on a Sunday when it's closed! Fedex is a logistics company?!? HA! never.

My packages were one day late. They are ALWAYS at least one dying layer through FedEx. I always dread when I see "sent via FedEx." When they were delivered just now I got a normal alert from my cameras. I check it and see the delivery guy leaning these two large boxes against each other on one of the pillars on my porch. Ome of them is literally 7 or I feet long! They are completely visible from the street, "Hey look at these big boxes! Come get them!" FedEx is the only carrier I have this issue with. Theyre left leaning precariously against a pillar instead of being laid down on the floor of my porch. Why would you lean a long box against a pillar? It doesn't make any sense. This package and just about every package I get that's sent with FedEx is always left out in the open for the world to snatch at their leisure. Yes I have cameras but what real good does that do me? I can only hope they will still be there when I get home. Leaving them out and visible from the street is completely unacceptable. FedEx needs to teach their delivery people to think about what theyre doing! I sent an email to their complaint department. Not that anything will change! Aside from this incident, I've had them just set a large box on my side of the gate. They couldn't be bothered to push the gate (not latch required!) and walk it 10 feet up to my door. Then again, it would also be left right out in the open! I hate FedEx so much!

Today fedex just thru a package on top of a row of mailboxes. This is a rural route and I get deliveries all of the time absthey deliver to the house. If I hadn’t been going out when I did it would have been gone. They got lucky this time. The mailboxes aren’t viewable from the house. It’s against the law to use a us postal mailbox for any other services. All I can say I guess they enjoy paying for lost packages. If I didn’t receive it the driver would have claimed he delivered it. I have pictures.

Supposedly 4 attempted deliveries over 4 days, but NO (zero) notifications of any kind left 3 of those times, then the gaul to indicate attempted delivery again today at indicated 10:55 AM ET - when I was actually home to receive it - and no actual attempt to deliver was in fact made, and again tracking indicates "Delivery exception - Customer not available or business closed
NORTH WALES, PA 19454"

Of course spending hours on the phone with so-called customer service is nothing more than additional waste of time and increase in frustration.

I already knew things had gotten very bad with FedEx , but this is outrageous - not even a single notification on 4 attempts - and a complete farce and mockery of the company it once was - a company that succeeded and grew on what was once an exceptional level of service, now turned to shit. Not even as good as the Post Office - never mind UPS.

I will refuse to use FedEx again.
